A voice and a choice for our mental health
Paul Hamlyn Foundation & Mental Health Foundation
The Mental Health Foundation (MHF) uses research and practical projects to help people survive, recover from and prevent mental health problems. They work to influence policy, including government at the highest levels and use their knowledge to raise awareness and to help tackle the stigma attached to mental illness.
The MHF reaches millions of people every year through their media work, information booklets and online services.
Paul Hamlyn Foundation is an independent grant-making organisation that operates programmes supporting social justice, education and learning, and the arts in the UK, and a programme of support for NGOs in India.
Founded by the publisher Paul Hamlyn (1926-2001), their mission is to support work that helps people – particularly children and young people and the disadvantaged – to fulfil their potential and enjoy a better quality of life.
